THE ALL NEW 2015 JEEP RENEGADE

The Jeep Renegade is a new subcompact crossover SUV from the Jeep division of Chrysler. It will be built in Melfi, Italy alongside the related Fiat 500X with which it shares its platform. It was first shown to the public in March, 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show. This will be the first Jeep product to be produced exclusively outside of the United States and North America. The Jeep Renegade will sell in both European and North American markets. The Jeep Renegade offers both two and four-wheel drive systems Active Drive I and Active Drive Low both are paired with Jeep's Selec-Terrain System. It also has an optional "My Sky" dual panel removable roof. The "My Sky" can be either retracted like a standard moonroof or completely removed for a more open-air experience, much like that of the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. At one time it was believed that the Jeep Renegade would replace the Compass and Patriot in the Jeep lineup, but the Jeep Renegade has since been clearly identified by Jeep as being in a smaller class then the MK twins. An interesting detail is that both tail lamps in the rear feature an "X" molded into them. This design, according to Jeep, replicates the design of an old military gas can.
